University of Tulsa defensive tackle Derrick Jackson and safety Dexter McCoil have been selected to play in the Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game, set for 8 p.m. Friday in Tucson, Ariz. The game can be viewed online at ESPN3.com.

The game is a showcase for players to be evaluated by pro football scouts. Last year, 61 of the game's participants were invited to NFL training camps. TU was represented in last year's game by quarterback G.J. Kinne and offensive tackle Tyler Holmes.

During the 2011 and 2012 seasons, the 6-foot-2, 294-pound Jackson made 27 consecutive starts. The 6-4, 220-pound McCoil made 44 college starts and completed his career as the Golden Hurricane's all-time leader in interceptions with 18.
