Defensive tackle Charles Walker used Twitter on Saturday night to announce his pledge to play football at Oklahoma.
Walker is on an official visit to Oklahoma this
weekend. The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder is a South Garland (Texas) High School senior.
Walker, who was also a target of North Texas,
Houston and New Mexico, tweeted: “I committed to OU SOONER NATION!!!!!!!!” on Saturday night.
Walker joined two other defensive tackles who gave commitments to OU in the past few weeks. The
Sooners have defensive tackle Quincy Russell (6-3, 311, Trinity Valley C.C.) signed and received a commitment from one-time Texas A&M pledge Kerrick
Huggins 6-3, 283, of Dallas Skyline High School.
Walker is the 18th member of the Sooners' 2013 recruiting class.
