Dannon Cavil, a wide receiver from San Antonio Madison High School, will enroll at Oklahoma this week.

Cavil (6-5, 205 pounds) made the announcement and added a picture of him signing papers via Twitter on Monday afternoon. He said on Twitter: “Committed to the University of Oklahoma ... enroll in the next couple of days.”

The mid-term graduate had committed to Cal last month.

His decision to flip his pledge to OU appears to have been prompted during an official visit to Norman over the weekend.

Cavil also had offers from Baylor, Clemson, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and South Carolina, according to Rivals.com, who list him as a three-star recruit.

This wasn’t the first time Cavil has changed his mind. He had originally committed to Ole Miss before changing to Cal on Dec. 15.

Cavil’s decision likely takes them out of the three-school (Oklahoma State, Ole Miss) recruiting race for Laquon Treadwell, considered the top wide receiver prospect by Rivals.

Oklahoma now has commitments from four wide receivers: Cavil, Jordan Smallwood (Jenks), Austin Bennett (Manvel, Texas) and K.J. Young (Perris, Calif.).

The Sooners have tallied 20 commitments in its class of 2013.
