Correction: A Wednesday Tulsa World sports story listed a wrong team as being a dual state qualifier. In addition to Berryhill and Coweta, Vinita qualified for dual state. This story has been corrected.

In a battle of two perennial powerhouse schools, Class 3A No. 1 Perry earned a convincing 50-20 win over 4A No. 5 Blackwell.

"I continuously told them that it was just another dual," said Perry head coach Ronnie Delk.

Dalton Revels (106), Tevin Williams (113), Austin Allen (152) and Kyle Varley (220) recorded falls for the Maroons. Zane Johnson (126), Colton Looper (145), Garrett Beier (182) and Bo Montez (195) also picked up wins for Perry, which improved to 6-1 in duals this season.

Cushing finishes third at Tuttle: Cushing turned in a solid third-place finish at last weekend's Greg Henning Invitational at Tuttle. Newkirk finished second behind host Tuttle.

Defending state champion Daniel Hood (113) was the lone champion for Cushing, winning a close 3-2 decision in the final. Blake Burden (106), Mason Roberts (126), Ryan Moline (145) and Daniel Rowell (160) captured runner-up finishes for Cushing.

Sallisaw finished fourth thanks to victories by Gabe Taylor (138) and Jaden Davenport (195) while Cale Wilson (170) finished second.

Bixby takes dual with Owasso: Mason Thompson (160) and Tyler Womack (285) each pinned their opponent to help fuel the Spartans to a 36-24 victory over Owasso. Justin Fletcher (132), Anthony Mica (138), Kaiden Hudson (145), Dylan Thompson (152), Reid Rodich (170), Hunter Dalton (182) and Nic Roller (220) also picked up wins for Bixby.

Dual state qualifiers: Many district champions throughout all classes were decided Tuesday with only the winner earning a trip to the eight-team dual state tournament. Berryhill, Coweta and Vinita captured district crowns on Tuesday.
