Country group Rascal Flatts, featuring Picher native Joe Don Rooney, returns to Tulsa's BOK Center with a 7:30 p.m. concert Friday.

The Band Perry will open. Tickets start at $22.75, available at tulsaworld.com/bok, the Arby's Box Office at the BOK Center and all Tickets.com outlets, or by calling 1-866-726-5287. The show is for all ages.

Rascal Flatts features Rooney on guitar, Gary LeVox on lead vocals and Jay DeMarcus on bass guitar.

"Any time I'm in the Sooner State, it's a homecoming," Rooney said during an interview last summer.

The band is the largest selling and grossing music group in country music history, industry trackers report. The group has sold well over five million concert tickets during its lifetime.

The band's No. 1 country singles include "These Days," "Mayberry," "Bless the Broken Road," "Fast Cars and Freedom," "What Hurts the Most," "My Wish," "Stand," "Take Me There," "Here," "Here Comes Goodbye," "Why Wait," and "Banjo."

The trio last performed in Tulsa at a sold-out intimate fundraiser last May. It's swung through the BOK Center twice, once in 2010 and once in 2008, as well as many prior dates in Oklahoma City, the Tulsa Convention Center and other Oklahoma venues since its formation in 1999.

The band's publicist declined multiple interview requests for this tour.
