Cars don't kill people; people driving cars can. That is why the privilege of driving comes with the responsibility of maintaining a valid state driver's license, liability insurance and not driving while intoxicated.
If you drive a large commercial vehicle or a school bus of children, there are additional requirements.
Guns do not kill people; people using guns can. That is why the privilege of gun ownership and use should come with reasonable responsibilities. What those responsibilities are and how to enforce them should be part of our local and national conversation,
