Tennis: ORU falls to Wichita State

Oral Roberts' women's team opened the 2013 season with a 7-0 loss to Wichita State at the Case Tennis Complex.
ORU (0-1) was most competitive in doubles play, where it stayed close in two matches. Tori Dollar and Melanie Marlin lost a close battle at the top spot 8-6 to Wichita's Veronika Blaskova and Lucia Kovalova. ORU also hung tough at the second spot where Marizanne Bouwer and Rachel Scroggs dropped an 8-5 decision to Monstse Blasco Fernandez and Satjaporn Mahajaroenkul.
