13-2 overall, 2-2 Big 12
Catching up: The Cowgirls handed Texas its sixth straight loss, winning 64-52 on Sunday in Austin. OSU shot 50 percent in the second half to deliver a victory at Texas for the first time since 2009.
Player to watch: Brittney Martin, the reigning Big 12 freshman of the week for a third time, had a career-high 16 points along with six rebounds and five steals against the Longhorns.
Notes
Assists showdown: When OSU hosts Iowa State at noon Sunday, two of the nation's assists leaders will face off.
Cyclones sophomore Nikki Moody leads the Big 12 and ranks second nationally with 7.6 assists per game, while Cowgirl point guard Tiffany Bias is second in the league and 10th nationally with 7.0 per game.
Against Texas, Bias had 12 assists, one shy of a career-high. As a team, OSU has assisted on 60 percent of its field goals this season.
Another ranked foe: If the Cowgirls can knock off No. 24 Iowa State, it will be their fourth win against a Top 25 team under head coach Jim Littell.
Cashing in: OSU sophomore Liz Donohoe ranks first nationally in free-throw percentage (96.7 percent). She has hit 58 of 60 this season, including 36 consecutive makes.
