MUSKOGEE - Two people were arrested Saturday in connection with the robbery of a Muskogee convenience store.

Andra Morton, 25, and Beanco Cox, 24, were taken into custody at 3 p.m. after being captured in Webbers Falls, Muskogee Police Department Lt. Bobby Lee said.

They were each booked into the Muskogee Jail on an armed robbery complaint, jail records show.

The pair are accused of robbing the Seven Express, 3225 S. Cherokee Drive Thursday night, Lee said.

Police said one of the suspects entered the store at 9:30 p.m. armed with a gun and demanded money from a clerk before fleeing on foot.

No one was injured during the robbery, police said.

Police also recovered a vehicle possibly involved in the robbery, Lee said.
