Investigators are still working to find out who killed four women earlier this month and what led to the deadly shootings.

Misty Nunley, 33; Rebeika Powell, 23; Kayetie Powell Melchor, 23; and Julie Jackson, 55, were pronounced dead in an apartment at the Fairmont Terrace complex, near 61st Street and Peoria Avenue, on Jan. 7. The 3-year-old son of one of the victims was found unharmed in the apartment.

Here are some of the latest updates to the case:

  • A preliminary report from the Medical Examiner's Office lists the cause and manner of each woman's death. The manner of each death was homicide. Nunley, Jackson and Kayetie Powell Melchor each died from a gunshot wound to the head, according to a spokeswoman with the office. Rebeika Powell died from "gunshot wounds" to the head, the report states.

  • Tulsa County Associate District Judge Dana Kuehn increased the bail amount for Freddie Allen Hayes, 32, whom officials identified in a court document as, "at a minimum, a witness in these homicides." The filing also states that Hayes is a "person of interest" in the killings. He remains in the Tulsa Jail, facing charges of carrying a concealed weapon and drug possession, court records show. His bail is set at $250,000.

Those charges are not related to the killings, and no arrests have been made in the homicide case.

  • Funeral services for Nunley are scheduled for noon Jan. 26 at Southern Hills Baptist Church. Services for the other victims have already been held.
