A dinner created by Devin Levine and appetizers from 11 of Tulsa's finest chefs will be on the menu when Catholic Charities holds its eighth-annual Cooking Up Compassion event Feb. 9 at the Tulsa Convention Center Ballroom. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Participating chefs include BOK Center executive chef and event chairman Devin Levine, Omar Galban, Jeff Howard, Jakub Hartlieb, Justin Thompson, Marcus Vause, Erik Reynolds, Michael Fusco, Tuck Curren, Jeffrey Stark, Matt DeWeese and David Bykowski.
The evening will begin with a reception and music by Mary Cogan and will include a live auction. Guests will also be able to vie for such items as a $4,000 gift card to Moody's jewelry, dining for six people at four local restaurants, a Coach brand handbag, a weekend getaway for two at The Canebrake and an iPad and accessories package.
