Dean H. Schroeder, 85, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013. Born March 30, 1927, in Aurora, Illinois. Dean formed an oil consulting and drilling business in Pawhuska with H.C. Wachtman, Jr., in 1952. Survived by his wife, Jean, of Tulsa; his son, Donnie Schroeder (Marianne); daughters Stephanie Schroeder (Stuart Bernd), and Kathy Dove, all of Pawhuska; stepchildren Paul Brown (Charlotte); Pam Burgess (Don) and Kent Brown of Tulsa; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his twin brother, Donald, and parents, Carl and Johnnie, of Aurora, IL. Service will be Tuesday, January 22, 2:00 PM, at the First Presbyterian Church in Pawhuska.
