Oklahoma State no longer has just one running back commitment in the class of 2013.

Rennie Childs of Cypress Ridge High School in Houston confirmed Sunday to media outlets that he has committed to OSU.

Childs (5-foot-10, 185 pounds) is rated as a three-star recruit by Scout.com and Rivals.com.

Scout.com indicated that Childs ran for 1,945 yards and 21 touchdowns last season. He previously had made visits to Colorado State, Houston and Utah State, and, after committing to OSU, is expected to cancel a visit to TCU.

Before Childs' commitment, OSU's lone running back pledge had come from Corion Webster of Atlanta, Texas. The Cowboys need running back depth because Joseph Randle, who led the Big 12 in rushing during the regular season, declared early for the NFL draft.
