OU pops West Virginia; 2 win in final home dual

Oklahoma defeated new Big 12 opponent West Virginia, 25-14, in college wrestling Sunday afternoon at McCasland Field House in Norman.
With the win, 13th-ranked OU improved to 6-4 overall and 2-1 in Big 12 competition, while WVU fell to 1-5 and 0-2. The Mountaineers lost at No. 2 OSU on Friday night.
OU seniors Bubby Graham and Keldrick Hall went out with wins in their final home matches, Graham with a 14-3 major decision over Dominic Prezzia at 165 and Hall with a 2-1 decision over Phil Mandzik at heavyweight.
Another senior, Nolan McBryde, dropped a 13-4 major decision at 184 pounds.
The Sooners scored two technical falls, three major decisions and one decision.
Justin DeAngelis, a redshirt sophomore from Jenks, had an 18-2 technical fall at 157 pounds against Jason Luster. The redshirt sophomore scored 14 points in the second period to remain undefeated in duals during his two years at OU.
