Letter to the Editor: Good feeling

I was having lunch on Dec. 20 at Goldie's on 21st Street, waiting for the world to end. When I finished, the waitress said "no charge" as the couple who had been sitting in the booth behind me had paid for my lunch.
I was pleasantly surprised and it was a good feeling to have strangers do something so nice without expecting any thanks.
Now that the world is still here, I would like that good feeling to continue and to thank them by treating someone else to lunch, and hope they will do the same.
