The state Department of Agriculture reported the following closing prices Monday at the Tulsa Stockyards:
Receipts: 2,866; week ago: 1,690.
Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers $3-5 lower. Steer calves under 500 lbs. steady to $5 higher,over 500 lbs steady $3 lower. Heifer calves steady to $5 lower with three weight heifers $10 lower. Thin fleshed and weaned calves in good demand. Supply included 20 percent over 600 lbs. 41 percent heifers and 389 cows and bulls.
