Track and Field: OU's Brooks honored

Oklahoma senior Tia Brooks was named the Division I Women's National Athlete of the Week by the USTFCCA for her performance at the J.D. Martin Invitational on Saturday. Brooks dominated the shot put field with a collegiate-leading mark of 61-6 3/4 (18.76m) to win by nearly 12 1/2 feet.
