Charges were filed Wednesday against a Tulsa man who is accused of shooting another man.
Marquise Ledon Fonville, 27, is charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm after a felony conviction, Tulsa County District Court filings show.
Fonville is accused of shooting David Williams, 32, in the 4000 block of North Garrison Place on Jan. 6. Fonville told police that he shot Williams in self-defense, an arrest report states.
Williams reportedly was in serious condition when he was taken to a hospital.
