OKLAHOMA CITY - It was the best birthday ever for one Oklahoma resident.

A Choctaw man has claimed the $2 million winning Powerball ticket from the Jan. 16 drawing, Oklahoma Lottery officials reported Tuesday. Doyle Henson claimed the prize Friday.

News9 reports that Henson, who owns a farm in Choctaw and drives part-time for an Oklahoma City Charter bus company, bought five tickets on Jan. 16 for his 65th birthday.

After state and federal taxes, Henson received $1,420,000, with which he plans to retire, officials said.
