OKLAHOMA CITY - Two off-duty paramedics were arrested Sunday after a fight broke out at a union meeting, Oklahoma City police reported Tuesday.

Police responded about 10:45 p.m. to an assault with a deadly weapon call at Old Chicago, 2125 SW 74th St., according to the report.

Erik Kilmer, 38, told police he and David Austin Wright, 34, both paramedics with the Emergency Medical Services Authority, had been arguing over union issues and went outside the restaurant.

The argument escalated quickly, and Kilmer made a comment referencing himself and Wright's girlfriend, according to the report.
