A man who had been shot was discovered Wednesday afternoon shortly after a Tulsa credit union was robbed.
TPD spokeswoman Jillian Roberson said a man entered the Tulsa Teachers Credit Union, 140 E. Pine St., shortly before 1 p.m. and hopped over a counter as part of a robbery attempt. She said a security guard then chased the robber and fired shots.
The guard was unharmed, and the bandit left on foot, police said.
Seven people were inside the bank at the time, police said. No injuries were reported to them.
EMSA officials received a call about 15 minutes after the robbery that someone who had been shot was in the 1600 block of North Greenwood Avenue.
EMSA transported a 22-year-old man in fair condition to a local hospital, spokesperson Kelli Bruer said.
