Letter to the Editor: Birds better off

Migratory bird hunting laws limit my shotgun magazine capacity to three shells. The laws are intended to make sure the birds have a fair chance to get away. Have the National Rifle Association and our congressional delegation heard about this? These limits on my unfettered Second Amendment rights sorely test my liberty to put dove on the table.
To those who oppose a limit on high-capacity magazines: We shouldn't have laws that make it easier to kill people than it is to kill birds.
