Virginia Norris Eubanks went to be with the Lord Monday, January 21, 2013. Virginia was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, on November 30, 1925, to Lewis B. and Daisy Norris. She grew up living in Sand Springs and along the Sand Springs line. She married Lawrence R. Eubanks in Tampa, Florida on November 19, 1942. They had five children: Ralph W. Eubanks, Jerald L. Eubanks, Richard D. Eubanks, Bruce L. Eubanks and Janice L. Eubanks-Williams. Their lives centered around their children and their church, Broadway Baptist Church. Virginia was primarily a homemaker, however, she worked for the Sand Springs Home for a number of years. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lawrence R. Eubanks; brothers: Virgil Norris, Warren Norris, L.B. Norris, Jr., Dail Norris, Harry Norris, Calvin Norris and Ralph Norris; sisters: Evelyn Norris, Erma Norris and Vera Bales; and granddaughter, Melissa Eubanks. She is survived by her brother, Bill and Margie Norris of Fresno, California; children: Ralph W. and Belinda Eubanks of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Jerald L. and Vickie Eubanks of Denver, Colorado, Richard D. Eubanks of Sierra Madre, California, Bruce L. and Candy Eubanks of Dove Canyon, California, and Janice L. and Darren Williams of Clovis, New Mexico; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Broadway Baptist Church in Sand Springs. Mobley-Dodson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
