Weekend TV: Screen Actors Guild Awards set for 7 p.m. Sunday

The red-carpet season continues with more film awards, and superheroes and spies rule the small screen.
Hello again
Sole-surviving supersoldier Vincent (Jay Ryan) must deal with the repercussions of his past on a new episode of "Beauty and the Beast," 8 p.m. Thursday on the CW, channel 19, cable 12.
Vincent comes face to face with his former fiancée, Alex (guest star Bridget Regan). While Cat (Kristin Kreuk) is in the hospital, she is forced to confront her feelings for Vincent.
SAG awards
Wedged in between the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards is the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. The event will be simulcast live at 7 p.m. Sunday on two channels: TNT, cable 29, and TBS, cable 47.
Among the scheduled presenters are Ben Affleck, Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper, Jeff Daniels, Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Lawrence.
Leading the nominations are "Les Misérables," "Lincoln" and "Silver Linings Playbook," each scoring four nominations. On the TV side, "Modern Family" topped all contenders with four nominations.
An encore telecast will follow on TNT at 9 p.m.
Look up in the sky!
It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a ... look back at early TV.
The PBS series "Pioneers of Televisions" rounds up the nation's small-screen "Superheroes" at 7 p.m. Tuesday on channel 11.
Beginning with "Superman" in the 1950s and continuing into the 1980s, the episode features interviews with "Batman" Adam West, "Wonder Woman" Lynda Carter, "The Incredible Hulk" Lou Ferrigno and "The Greatest American Hero" William Katt.
The show will air again at 7 p.m. Wednesday on KOED, channel 11.2.
Spies like us
The Cold War returns in the new FX drama "The Americans." Keri Russell ("Felicity") and Matthew Rhys ("Brothers and Sisters") star as Soviet KGB officers posing as an average American family in the 1980s. The series premieres at 9 p.m. Wednesday on cable 35.
