Glenpool police release sketch in sexual assault of 12-year-old

GLENPOOL — Police released a sketch of the man wanted for questioning in connection with the sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl who was picked up a few blocks from her house on Jan. 8 as she was walking home from school.

The man in the sketch is described as an older bi-racial, American Indian male standing 6-feet-0 in height and weighing about 210 pounds. He has a large stomach, light brown hair, a gray mustache and chin whiskers. He wore prescription eyeglasses and was wearing brown work boots, jeans and an orange ball cap.

He was driving a white ‘90s model Jeep Grand Cherokee with a gray interior.

Police Chief Dennis Waller said that the man reportedly sexually assaulted the girl at a construction site and a house with an outhouse at the rear of the property.

Waller said they are awaiting the results from a forensic exam of the victim which will give them a DNA profile which will be compared to the DNA profiles of registered sex offenders and any future suspects.
