Company says AT&T U-verse service fully restored

Service to U-verse, AT&T’s television and home internet portal, is now completely restored, the company announced.

“The software problem causing the issues was resolved by AT&T engineers early this morning,” said AT&T spokesperson Emily Lang.

“We are not pleased it took so long to fix the issue. AT&T will provide a credit to customers who were affected. We know our customers count on their U-verse service and we apologize for the inconvenience.”

The company had said that a server outage affected one percent of the company’s users across southern and southeastern states.
