FORT SMITH, Ark. — Fort Smith police said investigators suspect foul play in the death of a woman found unresponsive on her living room floor.

Police said the husband of 50-year-old Sakounswk Vilayhong found his wife unresponsive Thursday afternoon after he returned home from work. Fort Smith police said Vilayhong suffered "suspicious injuries" and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said a preliminary investigation shows that Vilayhong spent most of the day at a casino in nearby Pocola, Okla. Authorities said they believe Vilayhong left the casino shortly before 2 p.m. Thursday. Police said her husband found her body about two hours later.

Vilayhong's body will be sent to the Arkansas Crime Laboratory for an autopsy. Anyone with information is asked to call Fort Smith police.
