Thunder's Russell Westbrook added to Western Conference All-Star team

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook was named a reserve on the Western Conference All-Star team.

The 62nd NBA All-Star game will be played at Toyota Center in Houston on Feb. 17. In his fifth NBA season, Westbrook, who will make his third consecutive All-Star appearance, currently is averaging 22.7 points (seventh in the NBA), 8.1 assists (fifth in the NBA), 5.3 rebounds and 1.91 steals (fifth in the NBA) in 36.5 minutes per game.

Westbrook will join teammate Kevin Durant on the Western Conference All-Star squad. During last season's All-Star game in Orlando, Westbrook finished with 21 points to go along with five rebounds in 28 minutes.

The former UCLA player has appeared in 355 consecutive games (longest streak in the NBA).
