Promenade Dillard's store manager Dennis Hix pledged the department store's continued support of Ronald McDonald House Charities by presenting a $20,976 check to Tulsa's local Ronald McDonald House on Thursday.
The donation was made possible through the sale of the store's exclusive Southern Living Christmas Cookbooks and was made on behalf of Dillard's two Tulsa locations - Promenade and Woodland Hills - and its stores in Bartlesville and Muskogee.
"It's just a good feeling to know that we can give back in some way to the community," Hix said ahead of the presentation, one that's been a tradition for several years now and is part of Dillard's larger campaign to support Ronald McDonald Charities since 1994.
Since then, Dillard's has donated more than $10.4 million to RMHC local chapters, with it announcing earlier this month, its donation of more than $1.2 million to local chapters through the sale of its cookbooks this year.
