BIXBY — A Tulsa man was arrested Thursday evening on accusations that he tried to rob a CVS Pharmacy at 101st Street and Memorial Drive, Bixby police reported.

Tyler Joseph Burns, 23, is being held in the Tulsa Jail on complaints of armed robbery, possession of a firearm, driving under suspension and an improper license plate.

Bixby and Tulsa police worked together in making the arrest.

Burns is believed to be linked to similar Tulsa-area robberies, police said.

Burns, previously of Sapulpa, also has a hold in Creek County for a probation violation, after receiving a suspended sentence for drug possession.
