In regard to Bill Johnson's Jan. 19 letter ("Difference of opinion") about the Democrats: I am one, and people such as Johnson make me a stronger one.
I believe in the Constitution, Bill of Rights and do not believe in communism.
A law-abiding citizen can have a gun. We do not. Why would a law-abiding citizen want dozens of guns and stacks of ammo?
I believe the Bible from cover to cover. Johnson has no right to judge a Democrat or Republican on being a Christian. It has nothing to do with a political party. It's an individual choice. I am a Christian.
Where was he in the eight years previous to the last four? I believe we were in debt, people were out of work, etc.
Mr. Johnson needs to wake up. People such as him make me a strong Democrat every day.
