Letter to the Editor: WWJD?

For more than 100 years this nation succeeded under the factual motto, "E Pluribus Unum" - "One of Many." After decades of trying, the religionists got their foot in the door and the fanciful "In God We Trust" became the motto. Obviously, if you watch the guns leaping off the shelves in the daily news, this motto is no longer true.
Our present day legislators seem to believe we have too much government regulation and should switch to an everyone-for-himself philosophy. Should they not also change to a currently more accurate and honest U.S. motto, "In Guns We Trust?"
That, however, would lead another question. If Jesus should visit this "buckle on the Bible Belt" state, would he carry his assault rifle "openly" or "concealed?"
