In reference to Ray Lancaster's Jan. 21 letter, "Wake up:" You right-wing "Fox News parrots" are the ones who need to wake up. No one is trying to take away your pistol or deer rifle.
You compare hammers, baseball bats, knives and ink pens to AK-47s, machine guns, bazookas and hand grenades. Can you hammer a nail with an AK-47? Hit a baseball with a bazooka? Carve a turkey with a hand grenade? Write a letter with a machine gun? Your comparisons are absurd.
Mass killing machines were not what our forefathers had in mind when they wrote the Second Amendment.
The National Rifle Association has spent billions of dollars and told numerous lies to prevent people like you from knowing the truth.
