The National Rifle Association has railed for years against gun registration, claiming it would provide a database that would allow the government to know where the guns are, and therefore make it easy to confiscate them. So, isn't it ironic that the same organization would amass the largest database of gun owners in the world?
Maybe they don't believe that the same government would be capable of seizing a database, or that their database could be hacked into.
Paranoia and logic do not go hand in hand.
