Riverview Park Estates is a beautiful residential community in south Tulsa with 128 home sites and a community pool. The convenient location is only two miles south of the Creek Turnpike and in the highly sought Jenks Southeast School district.
Penn Development built this week’s featured home at 2912 E. 103rd Place in 2009. The unique floor plan is as delightful for entertaining as it is for family life.
Greg and Alicia Wagner purchased the spec home shortly after it was completed.
“We were impressed with the attention to detail and all the extras the builder included,” said Alicia. In fact, they were sold when they stepped into the foyer.
“When we walked in this home, it took our breath away,” she said. “Frankie always says ‘the first few minutes you walk into a home, you know whether or not you want to purchase it.’”
Frankie Harkey is the McGraw Realtor representing the property. “It’s very impressive when you walk in with the stairway, the hardwoods and the high ceilings.“
A beautiful staircase flows into the spacious entry, which has an open dining room to the left and a beamed study tucked into the corner just inside the front door. A Juliet balcony off the upstairs game room looks out on the foyer, and a wide, archway below leads to the great room. The effect is unforgettable.
“I also love that this house has three bedrooms on the main level,” Harkey said. “People are gravitating to that whether it’s a family with small children or aging parents or it’s a mature couple who live on the first floor and use the upstairs for guests. This house suits a lot of people’s needs.“
In her desire to show the home in its best light, Harkey has utilized a professional stager. Cindy Gasior, of Transitions Home Staging, has added some dramatic touches while playing on the plan’s openness. Grays interspersed with warm neutrals include an occasional pop of red in just the right places.
“This is a sophisticated house. I like the clean lines yet it’s still traditional,” Gasior said. In staging homes, she strives to “direct people’s eyes to the best features of the house.”
One of the many highlights in this home is the comfort and openness of the kitchen and great room. Three red pendant lights accentuate the large granite-topped kitchen island. A striking tile backsplash that extends up the wall is set off by stainless steel appliances and range hood.
Crisscross beams adorn the great room ceiling, and built-ins flank the cast-stone fireplace. A nearby gallery connects the breakfast nook to the master suite, and provides access to the covered patio.
The Wagners extended the patio to include covered and open areas and scored and stained the concrete floor.
The master and two bedrooms are on the main level. The spacious master bedroom has a tray ceiling. In the master bath is a shower and his and her vanities. The eyes are drawn to the whirlpool tub, which is accentuated with a tile wall surrounding a glazed window. The master closet connects to the utility room, enabling a quick pass to the other bedrooms.
Upstairs are three large storage areas and a fourth bedroom and bath in addition to the spacious game room.
Listed for $459,900, the house will be open 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. For more information, contact Harkey at 918-230-6315 or email to fharkey@cox.net.
