OKLAHOMA CITY - One man was arrested after two neighbors fought with baseball bats on a front porch west of downtown, Oklahoma City police said Monday.
Joseph A. Gutierrez, 42, was arrested on a complaint of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon about 3:45 p.m. Friday after the incident at 212 N Blackwelder.
According to a police report, Gutierrez's neighbor, Cirenio Torres, 46, had left his front door open because his children were playing in the front yard. Witnesses said Gutierrez walked in the front door and tried to make conversation with the family, while appearing to be drunk.
Torres yelled at Gutierrez to get out of his house and eventually tried to push him out the door after he refused to leave and acted aggressively. Gutierrez fell and landed on Torres' 9-month-old stepson, which prompted Torres to start punching him, the report said.
