Man accused of killing grandmother arrested

Emergency responders dispatched to a medical call detained a man suspected of killing his 78-year-old grandmother on Tuesday, police said.
The 35-year-old man was behaving suspiciously and tried to flee his grandmother's home in the 3200 block of North Wheeling Place when medics with the Tulsa Fire Department and EMSA arrived to confirm the woman's death around 1:45 a.m., said Tulsa Police Capt. Steve Odom.
Responders held the man for authorities based on "suspicious circumstances" at the scene, Odom said.
Police have not released the names of the parties involved or the woman's cause of death.
