February is National Heart Month, and in its 10th year, Macy's, a founding national sponsor of the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women movement, will feature a lineup of events, merchandise and promotions all designed to bring awareness and funds to the cause of women's heart health.

The fashion-focused programs happening in-store and online include Macy's annual Wear Red Sale (Wednesday through Sunday) and the sale of special red dresses designed honoring the cause.

Wear Red sale: In honor of American Heart Month and National Wear Red Day, customers wearing red or purchasing a Red Dress pin at Macy's for $2 will receive a 20 percent discount on an assortment of merchandise or 15 percent off fine and fashion jewelry and select home items at Macy's stores starting Wednesday. New this year, Macy's will extend the pin sale and accompanying discount through Feb. 14. All proceeds from pin sales are donated to the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women movement.

Macy's exclusive red dresses: Macy's is offering three exclusive red dresses for American Heart Month, including a classic fit in red lace by Kensie, a heart-printed shirt dress by Ellen Tracy, and a sneak preview of an iconic style inspired by Marilyn Monroe from Macy's new Millennial brands launching in March. The dresses are available at select Macy's stores and at tulsaworld.com/macysgored They retail from $59.50 to $119.50, with 10 percent of the purchase price of each dress sold through Feb. 28 (Kensie) and March 31 (Ellen Tracy, Marilyn Monroe) donated to the American Heart Association.

Macy's kicks off 'America Goes Red': In recognition of National Heart Month and National Wear Red Day, the American Heart Association and Macy's are asking America to Go Red - to bring awareness to heart disease in women. Macy's Herald Square in New York will be the first iconic building to be lit red on Thursday with other iconic American buildings and main streets across the country to follow on Friday.

Color your world red: Post on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest using the hashtag #MacysGoesRed and Macy's will donate $2, up to $250,000, to the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women movement, from Friday through Feb. 14. Learn more at facebook.com/macys
