Drillers announce new program: The Tulsa Drillers Foundation has announced a partnership with McElroy Manufacturing that will feature a new program titled "McElroy Make-A-Difference Mondays."
The six Monday night games of the 2013 season at ONEOK Field will give Tulsa-area children and families in need the opportunity to attend games at no cost. Complimentary Drillers Dogs and soft drinks will be provided for all kids and parents that attend a game as part of the program.

ORU picked to finish third in conference: Four Oral Roberts players have been named to the preseason All-Southland Conference team, while the Golden Eagles were picked to finish third in the conference.
Jose Trevino was named as a catcher and Drew Bowen as a pitcher on the preseason first team, and pitcher Alex Gonzalez and outfielder Logan Domenico were named to the second team.
Rogers State coach honored: The Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association honored Rogers State head coach Ron Bradley as College Coach of the Year at the annual Hall of Fame Dinner in Oklahoma City on Saturday.
Tennis
Southern Miss on probation after NCAA sanctions: The NCAA has put Southern Mississippi on four years of probation and given the men's tennis program a one-year postseason ban after citing the school with failure to monitor the tennis program.
Two former coaches were cited for unethical conduct after the NCAA said they promised impermissible benefits to athletes - including offering $5,000 and the use of a car to one athlete - and engaging in academic misconduct. The NCAA also ruled that one of the coaches asked a player to lie during the investigation.

OU gymnast honored: Oklahoma gymnast Jacoby Rubin was named the MPSF Gymnast of the Week Tuesday after a career-high performance led No. 3 OU to wins at this past weekend's Metroplex Challenge.
