Meteorologist earns $1,000 for Humane Society of Tulsa on gameshow

Despite being the first contestant eliminated on a game show Thursday, Tulsa meteorologist George Flickinger earned $1,000 for the Humane Society of Tulsa.
Flickinger, a meteorologist at KJRH channel 2, appeared on the Thursday broadcast of "Let's Ask America," a syndicated show that features contestants who take part in the game via Skype.
Thursday's show was a special episode featuring four TV meteorologists - from Tulsa, Phoenix, Cleveland and Kansas City - competing to win money for local charities. Flickinger unsuccessfully answered three questions.
"Let's Ask America" airs 2:30 p.m. weekdays on KJRH, Channel 2
George's questions:
Hurricanes or politicians: Which did people in florida say is more likely to make a mess of their state?
Answer: 74 percent said politicians
Boyfriend or dog: Who did female dog owners say they keep on a shorter leash?
Answer: 58 percent said dog
Black or white: Which automobile color did car enthusiasts say is the hardest to keep clean?
Answer: 51 percent said white
