Cheryl Ann Roberts, 52, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 27, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born January 4, 1961 to Joseph and Bernice Slomski in Natick, MA, where she graduated from Marian High School in 1979. Cheryl then graduated Cum Laude from Mount Holyoke University in 1983 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry. She left a successful business career to devote herself to raising a family. In 1999 the family was transferred to Tulsa, OK, where Cheryl served as a substitute teacher for the Union School District, as library aide at McAuliffe Elementary, and on the PTA Executive Board at Jarman Elementary. She was also an avid seam- stress, knitter and quilter, as well as President and Founder of Sew- Be-It, LLC. She was a loving wife, caring mother, and will be greatly missed by everyone she encountered. She is survived by James Roberts, her husband of 25 years, their sons Joseph and Jeremy, her brother Jeff Slomski, her two sisters Cori Brown and Robin Taylor. Visitation and Rosary is scheduled for Friday, February 1, at 5:00pm at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel. The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Bernard’s of Clairvaux Catholic Church on Saturday, February 2, at 10:00 A.M. followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.
