Martha Jane Sparks Constantine was born Sept. 20, 1914 in Douglas, Arizona, and died in Tulsa last Monday at the age of 98. She moved to Tulsa 73 years ago after marrying George Constantine. George and his Father, and his two sons owned and operated Palace Office Supply Co beginning in 1909. Martha and George met on a banana boat cruise in 1938 thru Cuba and the Panama Canal. For more than 20 years Martha was one of the original Pink Lady volunteers at St. Francis Hospital. They had 3 children. Martha was predeceased by her husband, George, and her daughter, Beverly Young, and by a grandson, Brad Constantine. Survivors include sons, Jim Constantine and wife, Barbara, and Bob Constantine. Grandchildren are Kelly Young, Michael Young, Kim Spain, and Angie Constantine-Vinez, all of Texas; and Dana Constantine, Jessica Martin, and Joanna Constantine, all of Colorado. Great grandchildren include Bradley and Alex Vinez, Carly Spain, and Madilyn Martin. Service to be held 10:00 AM Friday, February 1, 2013 at Moore’s Rosewood Chapel.
