'Super Why' live kids show coming to Brady Theater

"Super Why Live! You've Got The Power!" hits Brady Theater for two shows, 3 and 6 p.m. April 19. The live-action production is based on the Emmy-nominated PBS Kids preschool television series that promotes literacy and reading.

Jack Antonoff of the Grammy-nominated band fun. wrote and produced the live show's soundtrack. Also, the tour was developed and is produced in part by S2BN Entertainment (Yo Gabba Gabba! Live and Spider-Man on Broadway).

Tickets start at $32.50, plus fees, available at Reasor's and Starship Records & Tapes, tulsaworld.com/protix, tulsaworld.com/brady, and by phone at 918-582-7239 and 1-866-977-6849.

Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Saturday. Party packages also are available.

The show is all-ages, and children ages 12 months and younger do not need a ticket if they are seated on a parent's lap.

This show will feature literacy-powered super heroes Alpha Pig with "Alphabet Power," Wonder Red with "Word Power," Princess Presto with "Spelling Power," Super Why with the "Power to Read" and their puppy pal Woofster.
