Opal Lee Garman was born June 15, 1924 in Owasso, the daughter of Lee Roy and Maggie (Vaughn) Bradford. She passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 in Tulsa at the age of 88. Opal graduated from East Central High School and was a clerk for Tulsa Public Schools for many years. She married James M. Garman on Septem- ber 7, 1946 in Independence, KS. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Opal enjoyed working crossword puzzles, watching her grandson play baseball, and eating breakfast. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband; a sister, Ida Jewel Ferguson; and four brothers: Ray, Clyde, Henry, and Dude Bradford. She is survived by her daughter, Laura Undernehr and husband, Don of Tulsa; son, John Earl Garman and wife, Kathe of Jenks; grandson, James Earl Garman of Tulsa; and sister, Virginia Phillips of Irving, TX; and lots of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be 11:00 am, Monday, February 4, 2013 at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Rod Harris and Don Cook officiating. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 pm in the Mt.
