Tickets are now on sale for the "Cinemark Oscar Marathon," and Cinemark Tulsa, 10802 E. 71st St., is participating in this event, which will show all nine of this year's Academy Award nominees for best picture on two consecutive Saturdays.

Marathon showings of the best picture nominees will begin at noon on Feb. 16 with screenings of the following five films, in this order: "Beasts of the Southern Wild," "Amour," "Life of Pi," "Les Miserables" and "Lincoln." These films are rated PG-13 with the exception of "Life of Pi," which is rated PG.

The remaining film screenings will continue at 1 p.m. on Feb. 23 with the following lineup of four R-rated motion pictures: "Argo," "Silver Linings Playbook," "Zero Dark Thirty" and "Django Unchained."

All films will be shown consecutively in the same auditorium. Cinemark Tulsa is one of more than 100 theaters in the Cinemark chain staging what has become a must-see event for many movie lovers each year.

Tickets are available at the box-office and online for the Feb. 16 package ($30 for the five movies screening that day) and for the Feb. 23 package ($30 for four movies that day). A two-day pass for all nine movies is $50, and this discounted package can be purchased at the box-office or online.

Concessions discounts will also be available during the marathons.

The 85th annual Academy Award ceremony is set for Feb. 24.
