Down to the wire: A pair of defensive backs from different sides of the country appear to be taking their final decisions to Wednesday's signing day.
L.J. Moore and Adrian Baker have Oklahoma among their final schools.
Moore (6-1, 270) is a teammate of current OU commit Hatari Byrd. Both were stars on a championship team at Fresno (Calif.) Central High School.
Oklahoma, Arizona State, Cal and Oregon State are his finalists, Moore indicated via Twitter on Friday night.
Baker, a former Florida State commit, will decide between OU and Clemson. The Tigers' defense is led by former Sooners coordinator Brent Venables.
Signing day countdown
Some of Oklahoma's commitments reminded how soon signing day is by displaying pictures of the letter of intent packages on Twitter.
Recruits can start faxing in signed letter of intents as early as 7 a.m. on Wednesday.
The Sooners have 22 commitments (including a pair of signed letters of intent) as of Saturday afternoon. That number can change by signing day. OU is still looking for offensive line help and is hopeful that recruits pledged to other schools change their minds and head to Norman.
Bob Stoops has a planned press conference for 3:05 p.m. Wednesday to discuss his 15th signing class.
The rankings
ESPN 20th (unchanged), Rivals 12th (up one spot), Scout 14th (up three spots).
Position watch: O-line
Oklahoma has two players (both offensive tackles) committed in the class of 2013 - junior college transfer Josiah St. John (6-6, 305) and Christian Daimler (6-6, 270).
Will OU look for additional depth? It appears likely.
The Sooners are reportedly after George Adeosun (6-6, 294), an offensive tackle from Alpharetta, Ga., Josh Outlaw (6-4, 290), a guard from Lithonia, Ga., and Baylor commit Dionte Savage (6-5, 345), an offensive guard from Arizona Western C.C.
Oklahoma is making a late run at Adeosun, who is picking up offers daily. His latest is from Georgia.
Outlaw has been watched consistently by OU and planned final weekend visits before making his decision.
Savage, who played with running back Damien Williams in 2010, told SoonerScoop.com that OU coaches told him starter Adam Shead had a back injury. Savage, who only has two years of eligibility, could provide insurance.
