Are there any widows who you know of who are having trouble collecting their pensions from the Veterans Administration? My husband was 100 percent service connected at the time of his death April 3 and was receiving a pension. He was a Vietnam War veteran.
I sent in the appropriate papers last May and received a letter stating I would receive a pension in due time but there were many others that they had to process. Every couple of months I receive a form letter stating they are working on it.
I have written to them inquiring about the delay but all I receive is another form letter. I even wrote to President Obama in December, but so far no response. My blood pressure has gone up and I am constantly depressed.
