Fern Daphne Loyd was born in Arapaho, OK May 5, 1912 to John S. and Hazel White. She passed from this life on February 1, 2013 at the age of 100. She graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1930. She served in the American Red Cross Air Ambulance Corp during WWII. She was the owner of Daphne Frame Shop and Art Galleries in Tulsa, Sand Springs, and Owasso from 1970 until 1993 when she retired. She was an officer of the Tulsa Chapter of Professional Picture Framers of America and a member of Pythians #39 of Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Francis Loyd. Daphne is survived by her son, William and wife, Delphi; grandchildren, Michael Loyd and Rick Loyd and wife, Kathy all of Bartlesville and Vicki Mosier and husband, Roger of Claremore; 7 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be 2pm, Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
