Frank Berry made it to 96 ½! His sunshine personality was interlaced with kindness, gentleness, honesty, good humor, and loyalty and he always thought the best of everyone. He never once said, “I told you so”, although he could have many times. After attaining his B.A. in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma (where it was rumored that he was very popular on the dance floor), he served as Sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge in Europe. At OU, he met the love of his life, Dorothy although they did not marry until he returned home from the war. They were married 59 years until she went on to be with the Lord in 2009. He worked at Tulsa Auto Parts, Inc and ONG before settling on real estate as his career. He had his own brokerage firm, Berry Real Estate and served a year as president of MultiList. Toward the end of his career, he opened Berry School of Real Estate and taught the salesman and brokerage courses for real estate licensure. He is survived by his daughter, Betty; greatly beloved nephews and nieces, Chuck Berry, Tom Berry, Charlene Doyle and Nancy Rodgers; and many beloved great-nephews and great-nieces. The family will receive friends 1:00 – 3:00 PM Sunday at Ninde Brookside Funeral Home, 39th & South Peoria. A funeral service will be held 10:00 am Monday in Ninde Brookside Chapel and a graveside service will be held 1:30 pm Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery.
