An evening of dinner and dancing awaits guests at the Crosstown Learning Center's "Just a Little Valentine," beginning at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Rucker's Warehouse, 1227 S. Detroit Ave.

Appetizers will be provided and a cash bar will be available. There will also be a gift store where patrons can buy Valentine gifts donated by Glacier Confection and Moody's Jewelry. Eats & Sweets is catering the gourmet dinner and Kupcakz will provide Valentine cupcakes.

Following dinner, a live auction will feature unique and romantic items.

Banana Seat, a 10-piece band from Norman, will perform songs from the 1970s and '80s.

All proceeds from the event benefit Crosstown Learning Center, a nonprofit in the Kendall-Whittier neighborhood that has provided nationally accredited early care and learning opportunities for children for more than 43 years.

Its mission is to "provide educational opportunities in a nurturing environment for children and their families to learn and grow together."

Executive Director Debbi Guilfoyle said, "We are looking forward to the second annual 'Just a Little Valentine.' Once again, it will be a night to remember for the supporters of Crosstown Learning Center. We've added a few new twists to the event this year and I'm sure everyone will enjoy this festive night knowing it's our children at Crosstown who benefit the most.

"I'm especially grateful for the strong support and collaboration of the Crosstown board of directors, and, again, we're honored to have QuikTrip and the George Kaiser Family Foundation as our presenting sponsors."

Dress is elegantly casual (jeans with a fancy shirt will do nicely). Free valet parking will be provided.

Corporate and table sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels. Sponsors will receive party favors and recognition at the event.

Individual tickets are $75. For more information, contact Elizabeth Inbody at 918-582-1457 or einbody@crosstowntulsa.org.
